Here, history and tradition merge with technology and love.
Conti Riccati is located in the rolling hills outside of Castelfranco Veneto in the province of Treviso. The rich countryside, in the heart of the Veneto region, is the birthplace of some delicious and memorable wines. The Conte Riccati estate sits on 18 pristine hectares that have been passed down for generations and belonged to the Riccati family since the 14th Century.
The estate’s current owners, Valperto Azzoni, his wife, and their 4 fun-loving children are the direct descendants of the Riccati family and they have the same enthusiasm and respect for the land, that their ancestors had in the past.
Conti Riccati grows mostly Glera, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. They are known for their Prosecco. The winemaker, Salvatore Lovo, and the agronomist, Giovanni Pascarella take great pride in making the wines and tending the vineyards for the family.
Conti Riccati | Brut
Prosecco DOC
Notes of autumn fruit plum more:
crisp apple and sweet pear, lemons, and fresh brioche.
GRAPE(S): Glera
APPELLATION: Prosecco Brut DOC
Not all Proseccos are created equal. The right amount of sugar vs. acidity is most highly needed; Conti Riccati understands this.
By no means is this a sweet-style prosecco! Hand-harvested. Fermentation starts in steel tanks on selected yeasts in temperature-controlled. The second fermentation in a tank (Charmat method) is 100 days. Visually it is a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Fine aromas, elegant, with wafts of fall fruit- apple, pear, and citrus bursts. Always dry! Fresh, beautiful, and persistent with a lingering sensation of grapefruit.
Pairings: Seafood appetizers, squid risotto, and fried fish
Organic farmed
Sustainable certification
Alcohol: 12%
