Gabriele’s vineyards, nestled in ideal locations throughout the Langhe and Roero regions, flourish with indigenous varietals of distinct quality; with the utmost attention to terroir and climate, he grows Moscato, Arneis, Nebbiolo, barbera, and a little bit of chardonnay.
His pure affection for wine, arts, and great food brought him back to his roots, back to where his family has made their home for generations. It is here that he grows his vineyards and dedicates his passion for bringing excellent quality wines to international markets with pride. Gabriele is a bit of a ‘late bloomer’ in the winemaking world, after years in the wine world, working for primary producers in the area of marketing, he left the rat race for a more authentic way of life and to follow his heart. What he does not have in heritage, he more than makes up for it with his focus, drive and pure, unbridled passion. Attention to detail is the cornerstone of his business- the land, the sun, the care in the fields; these are the building blocks on which to build quality wines. Absolute minimal use of pesticide treatments - all these elements combined to offer unique wines that have the most elegant aromas and flavors. These are wines capable of seducing and expressing high emotions. And who doesn’t enjoy a playful, spirited seduction from time to time?

"Ostinatamente" Roero Arneis DOCG
Ostinatamente (stubbornly) has a slight amber glow that catches the sunlight brilliantly. It’s a Roero Arneis that has some age and is not intended to be enjoyed young. The nose is eager, but graceful, with hints of flowers and fruit-reminiscent of a summer’s walk on a country road. The crisp flavors of fresh herbs with subtle hints of flowery fruit are most refreshing. Despite its delicate nature, it is full bodied with a notable persistence and a soft finish.

"Il Quattro Conigli Bianchi" Barbera d'Alba DOC
Gabriele's labels speak to a playfulness conveyed by his wines. When asked how he arrived at the packaging for his barbera, he referenced the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and pensively continued, "...so why not four?"
A convivial young wine, I Quattro Conigli Bianchi shows ripe plum and forest fruits, with a soft breadth in the mouth. Supple and fragrant, this barbera offers an intriguing ripeness on the palate and dryness in the finish, appealing to both serious and whimsical desires.

'Tutti dipende da dove Vuoi Andare" Langhe Rosso, Barbera/Nebbiolo
This blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera, aged for two years in oak, is guaranteed to slow down your pace of life for a little while. This is Gabriele Scaglione’s first wine- the wine which lead him back to Piedmont. He presents a wine that is pleasantly spicy with notes of leather, tobacco and herbs- a darn good drink. Holding true to the characteristics of these grapes- rich, well-balanced, soft and persistent. Deep, rub red color with slight hues of garnet trap the sole. The delicately ethereal nose of balanced intensity- soft ripe fruit and light spices fetter you to the glass.

"Passione di Re" Barolo DOCG
From the hills of La Morra, Gabriele grows the wine of the kings. On about 1 hectare of land, he fastidiously manicures his vineyard of Nebbiolo in the most forward approach to sustainable farming that he can without loosing the fruits of his labor. Hand picked, native yeasts, maceration for about 13 days, aged 24 months in oak barrels, and 12 months in bottle. Subdued aromas of mature berries, leather and hint of toasted oak lead an expressive palate: dried black cherry, ground pepper and a hint of star anise and coffee. Fine-grained tannins with a supple finish, enjoyable even in its youth.
