We dig their boxed wines.

Situated in the Marche region of central Italy, facing the Adriatic Sea, this beautiful estate has been in the Degli Azzoni family since the 14th century. It spans over 850 hectares on the southwest hillside of Montefano, a picturesque village situated atop rolling hills, with winding, narrow streets and old stucco buildings. The entire property is agriculturally cultivated with wheat, maize, barley, and a variety of other vegetables, as well as aromatic plants such as basil (the largest producer in Italy) and parsley. It also encompasses over 100 hectares of vineyards, planted mainly with Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Grechetto, Verdicchio, Lacrima, Maceratino, and other international varietals, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The two brothers, Valperto and Filippo Degli Azzon, run their family’s trusted business with the help of over 50 dedicated workers. We dig their boxed wines. While they produce wines for private labels, we prefer to represent them and help build their brand. The brothers understand the vital importance of these wines and do a terrific job of maintaining their quality in this format. They aim to produce delicious, affordable wines that bring the character and the love of the land to each bottle, well, in this case, box. They get our stamp of approval.
