Renowned for their winemaking heritage-
Salvatore Lovo, together with his wife Rita Ferasin and their daughter Silvia, manages the family-owned Terregaie winery in Vo', located at the western end of the Euganian Hills—a region renowned for its long-standing and rich winemaking heritage. The modern and innovative winery is dedicated to producing approximately 100,000 bottles of high-quality Prosecco each year, meticulously grown on the picturesque and highly esteemed hillsides of the Province of Padova. Situated at the very core of Veneto’s vibrant wine-producing region, the Terre Gaie Winery and the Lovo family have been nurturing and cultivating these vineyards for many generations. The winery, established in 2004, proudly stands on the Lovo and Ferasin farmlands, which have been part of the family lineage since the 18th century. Spanning approximately 50 hectares (about 120 acres) of southwest-facing vineyards, the estate primarily cultivates a variety of indigenous and classic grape varieties. The winemaking process at Terregaie is a harmonious blend of cutting-edge modern technology and time-honored traditional wisdom, truly reflective of the family's deep-rooted and extensive expertise in the intricate art of winemaking.

Estate-grown, hand-harvested older vine Prosecco.
Terregaie’s flagship wine, Prosecco Brut, is 100% estate-grown Glera. Delicate bubbles with a zestful mouth and a classic 'brut-style’ dryness that is never too sharp; simultaneously, it maintains a balanced fruit quality. This late-ripening grape produces flirty, fruity sparkling wines. With secondary fermentation in steel vats, its flavor is clean and crisp. Spun gold in color with a fresh and delicate nose of fruity aromas, TerreGaie Prosecco Brut has a delicate and persistent mouthfeel that is honest, elegant, and lively.

VINEYARD: Organic, leaning towards biodynamic
VINIFICATION: Grapes are vinified using a white, hand-picked process and are gently pressed. The wine is obtained with primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The sparkling wine is produced following the Italian method in an autoclave (Martinotti method), lasting about 60 days. It is then filtered and cold-bottled.
CHARACTERISTICS: Straw yellow colored wine, vinous, light and distinctly fruity bouquet reminiscent of wisteria and acacia flowers. Its modest alcohol content gives it a pleasant, delicate, and harmonious flavour.
PAIRING: It is a very versatile aperitif sparkling wine par excellence. It goes very well with risottos, soups, and white meats. It is enhanced with fish, especially with molluscs, seafood, crustaceans, and vegetables (radicchio and mushrooms). It should be served at 6°C - 8 °C.

The must is meticulously preserved in climate-controlled tanks to maintain its freshness and quality until the delicate second fermentation takes place in an autoclave. This wine pairs exquisitely with rich goose liver, a variety of pâtés, matured cheeses, especially those with a spicy profile. It also complements delicate, bite-sized pastries perfectly. Best served slightly chilled, it reveals its refreshing and complex flavors to full effect.

VINIFICATION: The hand-picked grapes are cooled to 0.5°C and then gently pressed to maximize the fruity aromas. The must thus obtained must be stored in air-conditioned tanks until the moment of fermentation in an autoclave.
CHARACTERISTICS: Straw yellow in color with bright greenish reflections. The must obtained is conserved in climate-controlled tanks until the moment of the second fermentation in an autoclave.
PAIRING: It goes wonderfully with goose liver, pates, aged cheeses, and spicy ones. Excellent with small pastries. Magnificent served slightly chilled.

VINEYARD: Organic, leaning towards biodynamic.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are vinified in rosé, that is, by lightly macerating the skins with the must. After the primary fermentation, the wine is transferred to temperature-controlled steel tanks, where it undergoes a secondary fermentation, resulting in a sparkling wine after approximately 90 days. It is filtered and cold-bottled.
CHARACTERISTICS: Lively wine with a cherry color; fresh and vinous aroma; lively flavor reminiscent of apple and apricot with a bitter aftertaste.
PAIRING: It is a wine suitable for aperitifs, quick snacks, light appetizers and first courses.
