ZUANI

Felluga is synonymous with Friuli-

The name "Zuani" is derived from an antique map of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The winery operates 15 hectares of vineyards planted with the appropriate grape varieties for the Collio DOC, including Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon.

Zuani is a family-owned winery located in the Collio DOC region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, established over 30 years ago by Patrizia Felluga, who, like the winery's name, has deep roots in the area. Her family has, with much respect, been making wine for five generations. She is the daughter of Marco Felluga, famous for decades for the quality wines he has created at his two estates, Villa Russiz and Marco Felluga. Along with her children, Antonio and Caterina, Patrizia discovered the site of Zuani in the municipality of San Floriano del Collio. The winery is situated in the Giasbana hills, where its proximity to Austria and Slovenia influences the style of its wines.

Zuani embodies the Felluga family's winemaking heritage by integrating classic Friulian grape varieties with a modern approach and innovative techniques. The family adopts an open-minded, practical approach to this project, bringing a sense of freshness to their style. This philosophy is reflected in the cellar, built on years of experience both in the vineyard and the winery, showcasing Patrizia's proven entrepreneurial skills.

    Elevate your white wine drinking!

This Ribolla is a wonderful food grape, savory, and delicately fruity with clean citrus, jasmine, and apple alongside a well-balanced acidity. Ribolla Gialla is the autochthonous white grape par excellence. It is probably the oldest vine in the region, as the earliest evidence of its diffusion dates back to the Roman Empire. This grape variety, with its late budburst and ripening, is inextricably linked to the history of our hills.

'Delicately scented, this has soft aromas of white spring flowers, white stone fruit and botanical herb. Vibrant and elegant, the racy palate offers peach, Meyer lemon and ripe pear alongside crisp acidity before a tangy mineral close. 93 PTS 'EDITORS' CHOICE (2018) -Kerin O’Keefe Wine Enthusiast
